Been around for over 40 years giving places a second or third try with my vehicles (disappointing). My wife had been using this place for years and I should have listened. Had an older Mountaineer in for a wheel alignment, oil change and to address a leak around the water pump housing (knew it was going to be a job). My wife called me at work to inform me of the bad news on the water pump leak (not the pump but engine). A quick discussion on cost/longevity issues in-sewed and I gave my "Let's do it". Long story short - the mechanic stayed late just to receive me for pick-up, showed me every one of my old parts that were replaced (probably 100+ lbs. worth) and a diagnostic print out on vehicle/engine performance. At the time I gave the 2nd hand authorization, I had no idea that with the upper side engine rebuild I was going to get a full blown ignition system update (plugs, coil wire cables ect). What I drove away with was a vehicle that drove true, was well lubricated and had more getup and go than the 1st day from the dealer. Hate to admit guys - THE WIFE ALWAYS KNOWS BEST
