It isn’t too often these days that you find a local auto repair place that impresses you with their professionalism, courtesy, and honesty. So imagine my surprise when I experienced all three at Bob’s Service Center. I took my vehicle in for a smoke test to find a possible vacuum leak somewhere under the hood. With a diagnostic like this, you’re totally at the mercy of the repair shop, as they could easily gouge you for up to $2k in “needed” repairs. When I picked up my vehicle less than an hour later, the bill was $160. The cause of the engine light? A faulty evap detector. If every small business operated with the same integrity, we’d all be living in a much better world. Grant and Mike were courteous and professional, and the shop owns the convenience store next door, with the added benefit of booths, WiFi, and free coffee. Needless to say, after many different attempts at many different places around town, I’ve found the only place I’ll take my cars to from now on. Thanks guys.
